Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy for Knitting Retreats

By booking a knitting retreat, your participation is reserved on a binding basis.

Payment
If you choose the deposit option, 30% of the total price is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance of 70% is due 30 days before the start of the retreat. The remaining balance will not be charged automatically to the payment method used at checkout. The relevant payment information will be provided in good time before the due date.

For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the retreat, the full booking amount is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellations must be made in writing. The date on which Jollyknits receives the cancellation notice is decisive.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

• up to 90 days before the start of the retreat: 10% of the total price
• 89 to 31 days before the start: 30% of the total price
• 30 days or less before the start: 100% of the total price

Payments already made will be refunded in accordance with these cancellation conditions.

Replacement Participant
If a participant is unable to attend the retreat, she may, after prior consultation with Jollyknits, nominate a suitable replacement participant, provided there are no organisational or contractual reasons preventing this.

Cancellation or Changes by Jollyknits
If a retreat is cancelled by Jollyknits, payments already made for services not provided will be refunded. Any further claims are governed by the applicable legal provisions.

If unavoidable changes to individual programme items are necessary, we will endeavour to provide an equivalent alternative.
