The theme was a journey around the world - knitting with gradient wool. Publishing the book was an exciting moment and a long process, from the idea to writing the instructions to designing the book. In the midst of the constant rush, knitting allows me to find a moment of peace where I focus entirely on the simple interplay of stitches. The touch of soft wool and the slow growth of a project created by my hands. It's almost therapeutic how I can also knit a piece of my worries and thoughts with each stitch. And then there is the joy when the work is finally completed. It is an expression of creativity and craftsmanship that makes me feel proud of the work I have accomplished.
